We believe that a successful project starts with a clear, collaborative process. From the initial idea to the final build, our approach ensures that your vision is brought to life efficiently, on time, and within budget. By following the processes outlined below, we work to provide a seamless experience for every client.
Our Project Development Process
Phone Call/Initial Visit
During the initial conversation we ask several questions as you discuss the needs and wants of your custom build or renovation. If we collectively believe that our company may be a good fit for your project, we will move forward with an initial visit where we will assess the existing structure and work to better understand your wants, needs, and priorities of the project.
Project Development
The next step is for us to enter into a Project Development Agreement. This phase confirms that you want to explore your project further with us in order to receive a firm, fixed-price proposal. It is during this phase that we build the scope of work, draw renderings of the space, and work with you on choosing the material finishes for the project space.
Proposal
After the renderings of the space are complete and the material finishes are chosen, we will use that information to put together a firm, comprehensive, fixed-price proposal with a detailed scope of work, specifications, general conditions and payment terms. If you are ready to accept the terms of the proposal, we will move your project in to the next phase, the construction process.
Our Construction Process
Scheduling
We will apply for permits from the city or county that you live in. We will schedule each of the trade contractors and begin to order materials and confirm lead times to make sure that materials are on-site in time for their installation.
Construction
We believe that communication is essential, so our team will have several informal meetings with you, we enter daily logs and upload progress photos through our project management software app, Buildertrend.
Post-Construction
At the end of each project, you will receive a list of materials, subcontractors & vendors for your records. We will also provide you with our warranty clause. We may provide contact information for different reporting agencies should you wish to share your experience with others.
