Kris Spaulding is a native of McLean County. He grew up in McLean, IL and attended Olympia High School, Southern Illinois University and Illinois State University. Kris and his wife, Susan have been married for over twenty-five years and they have three children. Susan also attended Illinois State University and works full-time for Kris as an office assistant and designer, using Chief Architect Premier for 3-D renderings.

Kris has over 25 years of experience working as a general contractor in the construction industry. Kris has served on the Board of Directors for the McLean County Home Builder's Association, is a member of McLean County Chamber of Commerce and has established a reputation as a quality remodeler and builder in his community. Kris is a recipient of the Preservation and Conservation Association Heritage Award for the restoration he did to the historic Princess Movie Theatre in LeRoy, Illinois.
